Overwatch World Cup

Overwatch World Cup (OWWC) is an international tournament held by Blizzard Entertainment, featuring teams from different countries. The tournament was first held in 2016, and has since been held 5 times in total. The finals of each Overwatch World Cup take place at BlizzCon.

• In total, 63 countries have participated in the World Cup tournaments, including Belarus, Estonia, Lithuania and Luxembourg who participated under "Benelux" and "Baltic and Caspian Sea" coalitions in 2016.
  • 17 countries have participated in all five World Cup tournaments so far: Australia, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom and United States.

• South Korea is the most successful country in the World Cup tournaments, having won the championship three times and placed in top 4 every time it has been held.
