Story[ | ]
At some point, Khalil knew Ana Amari.
Khalil's squad was sent to deal with Anubis. During the mission, he tried to instill in his lieutenant, Pharah, the importance of their squad; not just as a means to an end, but as a family. He believed a captain's foremost mission was their squad's safety. He was shot in the chest during an ambush by Anubis-controlled omnics and died shortly afterward.[1]
