Nevsky was a member of the Horizon Lunar Colony base staff.
After the gorillas at the base were subjected to genetic modification, some of them displayed increased aggression to the human staff.[1] One night, Nevsky received an email from Patel, complaining about noise in the break room. He discovered that it was test subjects Simon, Hypatia,[2] and their fellow trouble makers. After the incident, Nevsky confined the apes to their quarters. Nevsky urged the staff to treat the issue seriously, seeing the gorillas as a serious threat. He/she suggested that all of the gorillas be confined to their quarters, in order to demonstrate that they weren't playing favorites. Yoshida suggested likewise, and Dr. Harold Winston agreed with the suggestions.
Not long afterwards,[1] the gorillas launched an uprising, killing all of the base's staff.[3]
