London Calling

“	And you're...happy? Doing this? Course! I mean, it's not Overwatch, but I want to help. Not answering my question. I'm very happy.	„

Emily and Lena were living together in a flat in London by the time Overwatch disbanded. Lena acted as a vigilante within London, in what Emily referred to as "compensatory heroics." One night, Emily asked Lena if she was truly happy, to which Lena responded that she was. In truth, it was rather a case of mostly, as Lena was still torn up from the end of Overwatch.

Reflections

Emily opens the gift from Lena

On the night Lena failed to get Emily a present for Christmas, Emily, who had prepared some tea for the two of them, reassured Lena by telling her to not worry about it, and that she tried to do too much with her already hectic life. Emily noticed a decorated box tied with a ribbon upon the coffee table that, unknowing to her, Lena had received from a young girl for helping her family earlier that night. Emily then asked if it was for her, and in her excitement, she opened it, ignoring Lena's nervous protest that it was not originally meant for her. To Lena's surprise, it was exactly what Emily wanted; a dark greenish scarf with a dark shade design. Happily, Emily kissed Lena.

At Watchpoint: Gibraltar, Winston, who had been waiting for Lena's arrival, gave up waiting and told Athena that it must just be the two of them tonight. Athena then told Winston somebody had arrived at the door, and both Lena and Emily greet "the big guy." They embraced him in a group hug, then all happily sat to eat dinner.

Trivia

The Tracer and Emily spray

• A photo of Emily can be seen in the Orca cockpit in Zero Hour.
• A photo of Emily and Tracer can be found in the barracks in Watchpoint: Gibraltar. This was added in May/June, 2023, and is available as a spray.
• Emily was introduced in the comic Tracer: Reflections. The decision to introduce her (and have her in a relationship with Tracer) came after the comic's initial conception. Her kiss with Tracer went through numerous takes before a final version was settled on.
